Things to be aware of:

** If you access the newspaper and magazine indexes

from a computer outside of the library, you will be

asked for a barcode and password. This is not your

library card and PIN number. The necessary information

can be obtained from the Reference Librarian on duty.

** netLibrary requires that you sign up for an account

from a computer inside the library. Once you have the

account created, you can access netLibrary electronic

books from any computer.

** When searching general web sites, there is no assurance of

accuracy or truth. Hoaxes, incomplete information and

malicious web sites are commonplace on the Internt.

Do not blindly accept what you read on any web site.

Double check everything that you find.
